Okay, besides the tasteless joke on Brown, let’s talk about what’s wrong culturally in this picture, especially in light of my last post about nudity in North Carolina:
She’s in a bikini. Arguably with less fabric than some underwear. Not only is he not even wearing swim trunks, he’s wearing cargo shorts that are basically capris, with a belt. I don’t think they accidentally ended up at the beach, and she busted out her emergency bikini. This is a problem. Why is it so objectionable for men to wear anything that if close enough to form-fitting to show a hint of his privates, yet preferable for women to wear things that clearly define every physical asset they have?
North Carolina, a popular Summer destination for its expansive beaches, beckoning vacationers in bathing suits, seeks to make a felony from exposure of womens’ nipples or any part of the ariola. But you’re goddamned right they’re going to continue to market their beaches with pictures of women in skimpy bikinis.
