People do not think. It’s not just that they don’t check snopes or somewhere else, it’s that verification at all escapes them as a logical activity! And unfortunately, we as a species have a way to track changes and implement contingencies, AND OUR MOTHERS DO NOT CULL THE YOUNG! (Like some species do). I too languish at reading things people post that have already been proven, time and time again, publicly, to be false. In 2008, there was a guy in a bar I was in insisting there would be a race war if Obama won: That he and his friends were well-armed and ready. He went as far as to explain that when they started acting up, he would put boxes of ammo on his front porch to lurethemin close, so he could pickthemoff one at a time.
Yeah, it saddens me, too.
