Putting this here to make sure I show my daughter later. She’s facing a major consequence now because she was afraid of making a mistake. This is a sweet girl. She’s being terrorized by a teacher. Extreme anxiety, nightmares, taking shortcuts on an assignment because she was afraid the teacher would yet again publicly humiliate her if her work was less than the teacher wanted.
My kid said, “All my life teachers have been people I could trust. They protected me from bullies. Now I’m being bullied BY a teacher.” This is not okay. IT’S NOT FUCKING OKAY!!!
Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, baby girl! Sometimes mistakes become the most beautiful and/or important things in the world!
